MIIT: Accelerate the formulation of the "15th Five-Year Plan" for intelligent connected new energy vehicles and other sectors.

Tao Qing, spokesperson for the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and director of the Operation Monitoring and Coordination Bureau, stated at a State Council Information Office press conference that the next step will be to implement the decisions and deployments of the Party Central Committee and the State Council, focusing on 3 key tasks:

First, strengthen top-level design. Accelerate the development of the 15th Five-Year Plan for intelligent connected new energy vehicles and issue guidance on accelerating innovation in intelligent equipment.

Second, ensure stable operations. Implement new work plans to boost growth in sectors such as machinery, automotive, and power equipment; continue advancing equipment upgrades and trade-in programs for vehicles; and standardize industry competition with a determined, results-oriented approach.

Third, focus on breakthroughs. Continue implementing the high-quality development initiative for key equipment manufacturing industry chains, strengthening efforts to develop landmark products and promote the adoption of their results.
